• Folding highchairs. Oddly enough, one of the most popular varieties of transforming furniture of this type is an option that does not transform into anything else. But this design allows you to adapt as much as possible to the parameters of the owners - the height and the seats and the backrests are regulated here. The product is easy to move around the apartment, because it is equipped with wheels, as well as a braking system that allows you to protect the structure and its passenger from an unforeseen start. Such a chair takes up a lot of space, but if it is temporarily not used, it can be folded. The durability of this solution adds the case, made from reliable materials - wood, metal or plastic safe, as well as removable seat covers.

• Table transformer, turns into a chair and table for the child. Another very popular model, characterized by high functionality. In the form of a highchair has all the best advantages, except, perhaps, the wheels. Since the small tabletop, although removable, is securely fixed here, the creators point to the possibility of using the product not only for feeding, but also for other activities of the baby, for example, for drawing or playing. When the child is a little older, the structure can be disassembled, and then the upper part will turn into a small children's highchair, and the lower part - into a table. • Certification. Young children tend to pull things in their mouths, and are particularly sensitive to harmful chemicals, so ask the seller for certificates confirming the environmental origin of all the materials used.
• Features table or tray. At a minimum, assess the shape and size - is it enough to properly feed the baby. A huge plus is the presence of raised sides at the edges, because like a child, carelessly spilling soup or tea, smears only the tabletop, and not everything around. The recess for the cup is welcome, but it should not be a through hole, otherwise the meaning of the sides is completely lost. If the table is removed, then over time the baby can safely sit down to the common table.

• Possibility of adjustment. Each child is individual, therefore there is no universal comfortable seat. As the baby grows, even the ideal seat for him will soon become inappropriate, so it is better to choose models that allow adjustment of the maximum number of parameters, including the height of the table and chair, as well as the position of the backrest.
• Reliability fixing. Special chairs for feeding are purchased by parents precisely in order to guarantee the safety of the child in a sitting position, so this moment cannot be ignored. Evaluate the strength and design of the fixation devices, make sure that the belts are attached at least five points each. A positive point is the possibility of subsequent dismantling of the retainers at the moment when the child can do without them, however, such dismantling should be both easy for adults and not easy for the baby.

• The possibility of cleaning the product. Accuracy from a child at this age is pointless to wait, so pay attention to coverage. If, in principle, the model does not provide covers, make sure that the wood is covered with a stable varnish (metal and plastic do not absorb dirt anyway), but the question remains whether the child will be comfortable on a hard seat.
